  • What is your minimum number of passengers?

    We have a minimum of 3 persons, under 3 persons tailor-made tour rates apply.

  • What is your maximum number of passengers?

    We have a maximum number of 8 persons per vehicle to ensure comfort and personalized service.

  • Are all meals included?

    Almost all meals are included. Exceptions can be dinners on a second nights stay in the same accommodation.

  • Do you supply special meals?

    Yes, if these are advised at time of booking.

  • Do we have own cooking facilities?

    On most tours there are no cooking facilities in most accommodations. There are however coffee and tea making facilities in rooms.

  • Is there a lot of walking involved?

    Each tour can vary but a reasonable fitness level is advisable.

  • Can handicapped people go on the tour?

    We welcome people with disabilities but please discuss this with us first to ensure the trip is suitable for you.

  • What activities are included?

    All activities mentioned in the itinerary are included unless otherwise stipulated.

  • Do you have transfer options from different towns/cities?

    We can provide transfers to the start point of our tours, from adjoining towns/cities on request. An adivitional fee may incure.

  • Do you do tours in the North Island?

    No at the moment we are specializing on the South Island.

  • Do you speak different languages?

    Yes we speak English, Dutch and German.

  • Do we have a guide on the whole tour?

    Our drivers are guides with the assistance of local guides in specific areas.

  • What type of accommodation do you have?

    We believe the accommodation must be part of the experience and this can vary accordingly. All accommodation is carefully selected and of a high standard.

  • What type of vehicle do you use?

    Our vehicles are comfortable 4wd so we can take you off the beaten track.

  • Do we travel long distances each day?

    We try to limit the distance each day to a maximum of 250km in one day. Our focus is on quality not quantity.

  • Are we returned to our starting point?

    Yes you are always returned to your starting point unless otherwise arranged.

  • What makes your tours unique?

    Our personal touch, smaller groups making it more interactive, passion in what we do, many years experience in tourism, we know various cultures because we have lived in Europe for many years.

  • Do you have a Qualmark?

    No, at the moment we don’t feel that it enhances our product.

  • Do we need to bring special clothing?

    Yes on some tours this would be advisable and we will indicate this where necessary.

  • What is your background?

    I, Randall am half Dutch and 1/16th Maori. Worked in higher management in the hospitality sector in Europe. Jennifer has 25 years experience in the tourism industry including running her own corporate travel business creating memorable experiences for her clients.

  • Is water or other drinks provided?

    Yes water is provided in the vehicles for the duration of the tour and in some cases wine will be included with the dinners.

  • Do we need insurance?

    We advise you to have travel insurance.

  • Are the excursions guaranteed?

    All excursions are guaranteed unless conditions prevail that are beyond our control. In this case we will provide substitute activity.

  • Are the excursions safe?

    We endeavor only to work with providers with a 100% safety record.
